Rachel Ramirez is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor committed to guiding her clients toward healthier and more meaningful lives. With experience in supporting individuals who face challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, Rachel has devoted her career to understanding and treating trauma. As a US Army combat veteran, she is particularly passionate about assisting military personnel, especially those dealing with combat trauma, PTSD, and military sexual trauma. While she primarily utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a key part of her treatment approach, Rachel draws from a diverse range of clinical interventions and therapies tailored to meet each client's unique needs. These modalities include, but are not limited to, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Rachel recognizes that the journey toward resolution can be daunting, and she aims to create a warm, supportive environment that fosters the development of a strong therapeutic relationship. In this space, she provides the tools necessary for lasting change, ensuring that each client feels heard and supported on their path to healing.
