MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Garland, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their unique needs. We offer a variety of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! for flexible, in-home guidance. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to empower individuals on their weight loss journey. We also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight or related health issues.
