MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Friendswood, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and has access to tailored weight management options that resonate with their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of support, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans who continue to face challenges after using the MOVE! program.
