Carol Lynn Woodard, a licensed professional counselor (MS, LPC, EMDR, CSAT, SE), is deeply passionate about assisting her clients in restoring balance and joy in their lives. With a strong educational background and substantial field experience, Carol provides a holistic approach to therapy for adults, couples, and groups. She meets clients where they are on their personal journeys, guiding them to forge unique paths toward healing through her extensive training in trauma healing modalities. Carol specializes in Post Induction Therapy, developed by The Meadows Treatment Center, to address Family of Origin issues. As a Certified EMDR Therapist and a Somatic Experiencing trained therapist, she adeptly treats shock trauma and developmental trauma, as well as chronic pain, sexual abuse, codependence, love addiction, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), she provides support for individuals and couples navigating sex addiction or infidelity. With training from renowned experts Bessel van der Kolk in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy and Peter Levine in Somatic Experiencing, Carol integrates body work into her holistic healing approach. Recognizing that reaching out for help can be daunting, she invites individuals to take that courageous step and allows her to accompany them on their therapeutic journeys.
