MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Allen, TX, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and referred to personalized weight management services that cater to individual needs. We offer a variety of practical care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer managing their weight independently, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight may access weight loss medications or explore bariatric surgery.
