The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Winchester, TN, is dedicated to fostering a new generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Through a hands-on, six-month experiential program, we empower our Fellows to become advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Our initiative includes organic food system education, community engagement, and practical experience working with diverse crops on market-style farms. Participants will implement innovative health care education, maintain community gardens, and promote food literacy within schools. Additionally, our Fellows will support farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs while assisting in the development of channels to improve access to healthy foods. Following their fellowship, participants enter a Community Action Year to further apply their knowledge in partnership with local non-profit organizations. Our commitment to removing barriers to education means we do not charge tuition, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring leaders in food and agriculture.
