The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in White House, TN, is dedicated to empowering individuals who are passionate about fostering a just and sustainable food system. Through practical training at the Allegheny Farm, our Fellowship offers immersive education in organic food systems, while ensuring accessibility by waiving tuition fees. Selected Fellows participate in a six-month residential program, gaining hands-on experience that enables them to advocate for healthy food access and environmental stewardship. They collaborate with community partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative educational initiatives, maintain community gardens, and support local farmers markets. Our mission is to cultivate informed leaders who engage in food and ecological literacy and drive positive change within their communities. Applications are accepted until March for an enriching experience that spans from May to October, culminating in a Community Action Year where Fellows apply their skills in partnership with regional non-profits.
