The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Smyrna, TN is dedicated to fostering healthy dietary practices among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years of age. Through our comprehensive services, we provide essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and critical healthcare referrals. Our commitment extends to community engagement, as we actively participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, offering fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables to families in Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to assist our participants through phone consultations, ensuring that families have access to a greater variety of food choices and expanded purchasing options with WIC funds.
