The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship on Signal Mountain, TN, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training and mentorship, our Fellows learn to advocate for social, environmental, and economic equity in food systems. This fellowship program is dedicated to increasing accessibility by eliminating tuition fees, ensuring that everyone can participate. Over six months at our beautiful Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows engage in organic farming, community gardening, and educational initiatives that promote food and ecological literacy. They collaborate with local partners to distribute diversified crops, support farmers markets, and implement innovative health care educational sessions. After their immersive training, Fellows take their experiences into the community, participating in regional non-profit initiatives during a Community Action Year.
