The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Seymour, TN, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates and educators committed to a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. This fellowship provides an immersive, tuition-free experience where selected Fellows engage in comprehensive organic food system education. Over six months at the vibrant Allegheny Farm Campus, participants learn through hands-on experiences in growing and distributing diversified crops, conducting community education initiatives, supporting local farmers markets, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Our Fellows also enjoy a Community Action Year, where they partner with regional non-profit organizations to implement meaningful change. Applications are welcomed until March each year, with the fellowship experience typically running from May to October.
