Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI)
Murfreesboro, TN US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Murfreesboro, TN, offers a transformative opportunity for aspiring advocates of a just food system. Our program invites participants to immerse themselves in organic food system education, where they will gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and socially responsible practices. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility for all committed Fellows. Throughout a six-month residency at our Highland County campus, participants learn to cultivate diversified crops, lead community gardens, and implement innovative health education initiatives. After their residency, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to enhance food access and empower others within the region. Our mission is to foster informed advocates who are dedicated to creating equitable food systems that nurture both people and the environment, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Applications are accepted until March each year, with sessions typically running from May to October.
