The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mount Juliet, TN, empowers aspiring leaders to champion a food system that is equitable, sustainable, and beneficial for all. By providing a rigorous, tuition-free program, we ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to engage deeply with organic food system education. Our dedicated Fellows gain hands-on experience over six months at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate diversified crops, implement innovative health education sessions, and maintain vibrant community gardens. Through the Fellowship, participants also play a vital role in promoting food and ecological literacy in schools, supporting local farmers' markets, and developing effective distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. After their immersive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits and further solidifying their commitment to fostering healthier food systems within their communities.
