The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Morristown, TN is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to champion a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our fellowship program provides a free, comprehensive organic food system education, encouraging participants to become effective teachers and advocates for sustainable practices. During the six-month experiential training at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows engage in vital initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, supporting local farmers markets, and enhancing community food access through innovative health care sessions and school gardens. Following their training, Fellows participate in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement their skills and foster food literacy and ecological awareness in their communities. Applications are accepted until March for the program that typically runs from May to October, enabling passionate individuals to make a meaningful impact in the food landscape of our region.
