The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Jefferson City, TN, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators for a just food system. By offering a comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower Fellows with hands-on training and knowledge in organic food systems, allowing them to actively engage in sustainable practices. Our Fellows participate in a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, learning to cultivate diverse crops on a market-style farm and integrating food and ecological literacy into schools and communities. They also support initiatives like farmers markets, community gardens, and health education sessions, enhancing access to healthy foods across the region. Following their residence, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their skills and foster meaningful change. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year for a transformative journey that runs from May to October.
