The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Jamestown, TN, empowers individuals to be advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. This unique program offers an enriching six-month experiential education at the Allegheny Farm, where selected Fellows receive in-depth training in organic food systems, ecological literacy, and community agriculture. Throughout their journey, participants engage in hands-on experiences such as growing and distributing diverse crops, leading educational sessions in innovative healthcare, maintaining school and community gardens, and supporting farmers markets. The Fellowship also fosters collaboration with local non-profits during the Community Action Year, ensuring that the knowledge gained is applied meaningfully in the community. Committed to accessibility, the Fellowship does not charge tuition, removing barriers for those passionate about making a difference in the food landscape.
