The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Humboldt, TN, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system through education and advocacy. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this program empowers selected Fellows to become influential teachers and advocates for organic food practices and community engagement. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all passionate individuals. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows will gain hands-on knowledge in organic farming, community gardens, and food literacy, all while building valuable partnerships with local non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods. The journey includes a Community Action Year, where Fellows apply their skills to strengthen food systems and support initiatives like farmers markets and health-centered educational programs.
