At the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Hendersonville, TN, we are dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Our comprehensive and free program provides an accessible pathway for learning essential diabetes management skills over a 12-month period. Participants receive six informative e-booklets tailored to their journey, alongside a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources in both English and Spanish. We also promote community engagement through information about local events and opportunities for connection. Enrollees who provide their phone numbers are invited to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can ask diabetes-related questions directly to ADA experts, discover the vital link between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways designed to enhance their journey toward thriving with diabetes. We are here to empower and educate, making diabetes management a supportive and informed experience.
