The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Elizabethton, TN, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in sustainable food systems through hands-on education and community engagement. Our program empowers Fellows to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice, with no tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all participants. Over six months, selected Fellows immerse themselves in experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain skills in organic farming, community gardening, and innovative food distribution methods. After their training, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to implement educational initiatives, support farmers markets, and strengthen local food networks. Our mission is to inspire meaningful change and increase access to healthy food throughout our communities.
