MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Cordova, TN, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran who engages with VA facilities for obesity annually, ensuring they are connected to the appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program that provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who wish to take charge of their weight independently, we've developed the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have persevered through our program but continue to face challenges with weight and related concerns. To participate, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to learn more about getting started on their weight management journey.
