The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cleveland, TN, is dedicated to cultivating food justice by sponsoring and empowering passionate individuals to become advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable food system. Our program offers comprehensive education in organic farming practices, alongside practical experience at the picturesque Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA. We eliminate tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. During the six-month immersive training, participants engage in hands-on learning and community projects, including growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining school gardens, and integrating food literacy into educational programs. Afterward, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional nonprofits to apply their skills and make a tangible impact. Applications are open until March; the fellowship experience runs from May to October each year, providing an inspiring and transformative journey into food systems advocacy.
