Located in Church Hill, TN, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, part of the Allegheny Mountain Institute, seeks to empower individuals as champions of a just food system by providing tuition-free, hands-on education in organic food practices. Our dedicated Fellows engage in an immersive six-month program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate and distribute diverse crops on a market-style farm, lead educational initiatives in innovative health care, and foster school and community gardens. Beyond their training, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to enhance local food access, support farmers markets, and mentor future leaders in sustainable agriculture. We believe in creating equitable, environmentally-friendly food systems and invite passionate individuals to apply for a transformative experience that runs from May to October each year.
