Karma Howard is a licensed professional counselor with an MA and LPCMHSP, bringing over seven years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. While her preferred clients include children and adolescents and their families, Karma also has a deep appreciation for the young adult and middle-aged women she has had the privilege to support in private therapy. With a passion for equine-assisted psychotherapy and animal-assisted therapy, she empowers her clients to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for making lasting positive changes in their lives. Certified by EAGALA to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Karma is also trained in EMDR as an effective intervention for trauma. She offers individual, family, and group therapy in a comfortable, non-traditional setting on her small farm, which features a variety of animals, allowing for a unique therapeutic experience. Karma's inclusive approach welcomes all clients, and her home office includes therapy animals such as a dog, a cat, and a box turtle named Tiger, making her practice truly special in connecting with clients through the animal-human bond.
