Timothy Evans

Timothy C. Evans is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, and Addiction Counselor based in Pennsylvania and Texas, bringing with him an impressive 37 years of experience in the field. Originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Timothy relocated his practice to State College, Pennsylvania, to be closer to his family. He earned his Master of Divinity in 1983 from Oral Roberts University School of Theology and followed up with postgraduate work at Texas Christian University Brite Divinity School. In 1987, he achieved his Masters of Science in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. Timothy is well-versed in multiple therapy modalities, including Eclectic, Family Systems, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Christian Counseling. His specialties encompass a range of concerns, including Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse, and Family Dynamics, along with providing valuable support to those facing life adjustments like Empty Nest syndrome. With additional credentials as a National Certified Counselor and a Master Addiction Counselor, he has also completed a year-long residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Baylor University Medical Center.
