Ellen Scheidt is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in individual and group therapy for clients of all ages. With 7 years of experience, she has focused her efforts on helping adolescents and young adults involved in the juvenile justice system. As a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC), Ellen understands the profound impact mental health issues can have on an individual's personal life, family dynamics, and community connections. Her main objective as a clinician is to assist clients in recognizing what a healthy relationship truly means while honoring their unique core values. Ellen's expertise extends to treating individuals with substance use concerns and those identified as commercially sexually exploited children (CSEC). Employing a trauma-informed approach, she effectively supports clients who have endured physical, sexual, and emotional abuse or have witnessed violence within their communities.
