Nora Mcdonald, MS, MSEd, NCC, LBS, LPC, is a compassionate counselor dedicated to helping clients navigate life's challenges. Through an insightful exploration of interactions, roles, and relational patterns, Nora empowers clients to enhance their effectiveness at home, work, and in social situations. Specializing in family and relationship issues, including separation and divorce, she is particularly skilled in guiding couples and families through transitional stages, including co-parenting through divorce. As an LGBTIQ+ ally, she inclusively supports diverse family structures. Nora’s therapeutic focus encompasses anxiety, depression, grief, and work-related stress. Utilizing Psychodynamic, Structural Family Therapy, and various other modalities tailored to her clients' unique needs, she is also a General EMDR Practitioner. Her qualifications include an MSEd in Marriage & Family Therapy from Duquesne University, an MS from Geneva College, and a BS from LaRoche College. Furthermore, she is licensed to work with children, including those on the autism spectrum, and their families. With experience in both the public and private sectors, Nora offers a rich and diverse perspective to her therapeutic practice.
