Faith-In-Action, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is dedicated to enriching the lives of elderly and disabled individuals in the Allegheny Valley community through compassionate volunteer support. Our mission focuses on alleviating isolation by offering essential services such as friendly visits, telephone reassurance, and transportation to medical appointments or grocery shopping. We also provide light housekeeping and food delivery from the AVAC Food Bank for those who qualify within specified zip codes, ensuring that our neighbors receive the support they need. While our program does not extend to personal care services, our commitment to dignity and care for the community shines through in every act of kindness we perform.
