NKCDC Nutrition Education

NKCDC Nutrition Education is dedicated to fostering healthier communities in Philadelphia, PA, through our comprehensive eight-week nutrition education and meal kit delivery program. Participants receive healthy, accessible ingredients, affordable recipes, cooking tips, and nutrition information, all complemented by weekly online classes and guidance on local resources. Additionally, we offer SNAP-Ed nutrition classes to further support community wellness. In 2023, we are excited to launch a Public Green Space Initiative, which will create vibrant community gardens along Kensington and Indiana Avenues, focusing on community involvement to enhance health outcomes for children and families while promoting sustainable land use and food production.
