Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Nazareth, PA, provides a transformative opportunity for aspiring advocates of an equitable food system. This dynamic program, offered by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, equips selected Fellows with hands-on training and education focused on sustainable agriculture and food justice, all at no tuition cost to promote accessibility. Throughout the six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, participants engage in organic food system education, develop community-driven projects like school gardens and farmers markets, and enhance food literacy in local schools. After their fellowship, they embark on a Community Action Year, applying their newfound skills in collaboration with regional non-profits to drive change in food distribution and access.
