Erica Kuhn is a licensed professional counselor with a strong foundation in Humanistic and Person-centered therapy. She is dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to discover their most authentic selves. With a belief that everyone has the capacity to change and grow, Erica understands that sometimes, people just need a guiding presence to navigate their transformation. Ready to help clients take the leap into self-exploration, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her practice. As a Board-Certified Art Therapist, Erica recognizes that creative expression can serve as a 'second language' in therapy, allowing individuals to process their experiences without the necessity for traditional verbal communication. Her art therapy approach encompasses everything from enhancing mindfulness and coping strategies to exploring past traumas through metaphor and imagery, making it accessible for all, regardless of artistic skill. Erica has extensive experience working with adults facing life adjustments and various mental health challenges, including Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem issues, Trauma, Grief, and Substance Abuse Disorders.
