Faith-In-Action

Faith-In-Action, located in Monroeville, PA, is dedicated to uplifting the elderly and disabled members of our community through compassionate volunteer services. Our mission is to combat isolation and promote well-being by offering a range of practical assistance, including friendly visits, telephone reassurance, and transportation to essential appointments such as doctor visits and grocery shopping. We also provide shopping services for those unable to shop independently, light housekeeping support, and food delivery from the AVAC Food Bank for qualifying individuals. Our program is focused on enhancing the lives of frail and elderly residents within the Allegheny Valley area, and while we do not offer personal care services, our committed volunteers are here to foster connections and provide neighborly kindness.
