Faith-In-Action

Faith-In-Action is dedicated to serving the elderly and disabled residents of Mc Kees Rocks, PA, by fostering community connections and combating isolation through a range of supportive services. Operated by the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches, we provide essential assistance, including friendly visits, reassuring phone calls, and transportation to medical appointments or grocery stores. Our volunteers also offer shopping services for those unable to shop independently, light housekeeping, and food delivery from the AVAC Food Bank for qualifying individuals. While we focus on these compassionate and practical services, please note that personal care assistance is not provided. Our mission is to ensure that our neighbors receive the kindness and support they need to thrive in their own homes.
