Jamie Brett Moniak is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (MS, LPC) who passionately works with children and their families. She approaches counseling through a child-centered, mindful, and play-based lens, believing that individuals learn best when they are engaged and having fun. Jamie is deeply committed to understanding diverse perspectives and providing developmentally appropriate treatments and strategies. With her extensive training in techniques such as Play Therapy, Filial Play Therapy, Animal-Assisted Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotional Freedom Techniques, she tailors her interventions to meet the specific needs of her clients. A distinctive aspect of Jamie's practice is the inclusion of her two Animal-Assisted Play Therapy dogs, Baxter and Sarah. These co-therapists contribute a loving, welcoming, and comforting atmosphere that fosters a sense of safety and reduces anxiety during sessions.
