Dr. Robert Wieman, PhD, FAACS, is a highly experienced psychologist with over 40 years of practice in Clinical Psychology, specializing in areas such as sex therapy, marital and family therapy. He passionately assists adolescents and adults dealing with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, marital and relationship issues, loss and grieving, chronic illnesses, phase of life transitions, addictions, gender and sexual identity concerns, post-traumatic stress disorder, and dissociative disorders. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Wieman completed a Postdoctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology and served as Assistant Director of an addictions treatment program. He also held a six-year position as an Associate in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, where he contributed significantly to the training of clinicians in marital and family therapies as Clinical Supervisor with The Marriage Council of Philadelphia. Dr. Wieman's leadership extended to his role as Chief Psychologist at Quakertown Hospital and within a multidisciplinary outpatient mental health practice for thirteen years. Since 1993, he has established a solo practice, offering support across Bucks and Montgomery counties, where he continues to provide compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families.
