Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Ephrata, PA, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. By offering a tuition-free program, we strive to ensure that our fellowship is accessible to all who are passionate about creating a food system that is fair and environmentally conscious. Our Fellows engage in hands-on training at Allegheny Farm, where they learn about organic agriculture, develop food and ecological literacy, and collaborate with community organizations on impactful initiatives. This includes growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing innovative health education, and enhancing local food access through farmers markets and community gardens. Over six months of immersive learning, followed by a year of community action, our Fellows emerge as advocates ready to make a difference in their communities. We invite all interested participants to apply by March for an enriching experience from May to October that paves the way for a healthier, more equitable food future.
