MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Bethel Park, PA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they are referred to personalized weight management options that align with their unique needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a variety of care pathways, including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! service for in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans can also take advantage of the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management, as well as access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who may need additional assistance. Services may vary by facility, so we encourage Veterans interested in weight management to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to get started on their journey to improved health.
