Faith-In-Action

Faith-In-Action, part of the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches, is dedicated to serving the elderly and disabled residents of Allison Park, PA, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to ease isolation and encourage community connections through compassionate neighborly acts. We offer a range of supportive services including friendly visits, telephone reassurance, transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and food delivery from our AVAC Food Bank for those who meet eligibility requirements. All services are available strictly within the designated zip codes of 15014, 15024, 15030, 15065, and 15084, emphasizing our commitment to enriching the lives of our community members while maintaining their dignity and independence.
