Brenda Thompson

Brenda Thompson is a compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist, holding credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marital & Family Therapist (LMFT), and a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC). After retiring from a fulfilling career in public education in 2010, Brenda took the significant step to create a faith-based Christian counseling practice. Her goal is to build supportive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, offering hope and guidance to families grappling with relational challenges, marital difficulties, parenting concerns, and transformative life events. Brenda’s services extend to adults, teens, and children, addressing emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual dimensions of well-being. She provides a Christian perspective to counseling, integrating biblical principles to facilitate hope and healing. With over 32 years in education and 12 years of dedicated experience working with at-risk teens in alternative educational settings, Brenda possesses a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by children, teenagers, and parents. Her expertise in helping clients navigate school-related and behavioral issues reflects her commitment to support and uplift those she serves.
