Children First

Children First is a dedicated home visiting program in Stigler, OK, designed to support first-time mothers through comprehensive education on pregnancy, labor and delivery, and essential parenting skills like feeding, bathing, and toilet training. Our caring and specially trained public health nurses will visit mothers in their homes throughout the pregnancy and continue until the child is two years old, ensuring that they receive the guidance and support they need at this crucial stage. We emphasize the importance of early and consistent prenatal care, personal development, and family involvement, including the vital roles of fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers, while also providing referrals to additional community support services to help families thrive.
