Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Spencer, OK, is dedicated to cultivating a just and sustainable food system through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. This transformative program empowers Fellows to advocate for socially, environmentally, and economically equitable food practices. By eliminating tuition costs, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring leaders in the food movement. During the six-month immersive experience at our farm, participants receive extensive education in organic farming, food justice, and ecological principles. Additionally, they engage in vital community partnerships—developing and distributing diverse crops, conducting health education sessions, managing school and community gardens, and promoting food literacy initiatives. Following their fellowship, participants enter a Community Action Year to implement their training alongside local non-profits, amplifying the impact of their work. Applications are accepted until March for the following summer, with the program running from May to October.
