The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sapulpa, OK, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental sustainability, and economic accessibility. Our comprehensive program sponsors and trains Fellows, providing hands-on education in organic farming and diverse food systems. Participants engage in impactful initiatives, working with community partners to cultivate and distribute crops, develop school and community gardens, and deliver innovative educational sessions that promote health and ecological literacy. Over the six-month immersive residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain practical experience followed by a Community Action Year, where they apply their knowledge through collaboration with local non-profits to enhance food access and support regional food coalition efforts. We welcome applications each year, encouraging individuals committed to making a difference in their communities, with the program running from May to October.
