The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Sand Springs, OK, cultivates leaders passionate about transforming our food systems into models of social, environmental, and economic justice. This hands-on program invites selected Fellows to participate in an immersive, six-month training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn about organic farming and food systems without the burden of tuition. Throughout their journey, Fellows gain vital skills to champion initiatives such as diversified crop production, innovative health education, and the integration of food literacy into schools. Beyond the training, participants engage with local non-profits during their Community Action Year, where they support farmers markets, empower community gardens, and enhance access to healthy food for all residents. The Fellowship experience, running from May to October, not only nurtures individual growth but also fosters sustainable practices that benefit the broader Sand Springs community.
