Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Poteau, OK, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic sustainability. Through hands-on training and mentorship, our Fellows engage in critical areas such as organic farming, community gardening, and food literacy education. Participants spend six months immersed in experiential learning at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills in partnership with local non-profit organizations. Our program emphasizes accessibility, providing comprehensive training without tuition fees, allowing a diverse range of individuals to join our mission of promoting healthy food access and supporting community initiatives like farmers markets and health-focused educational sessions. We invite all interested candidates to apply by March each year for a transformative experience that runs from May to October.
