Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Piedmont, OK US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Piedmont, OK, is dedicated to cultivating a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system through rigorous training and empowerment of passionate individuals. This program offers invaluable organic food system education, enabling selected Fellows to grow and distribute diversified crops on a market-style farm, maintain school and community gardens, and implement engaging educational sessions focused on innovative healthcare practices. Fellows also play a vital role in enhancing food literacy in schools, supporting local farmers' markets, and developing sustainable distribution channels for improved access to healthy foods. Through a transformative six-month hands-on experience at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, participants apply their skills in partnership with regional non-profit organizations. We are committed to making this fellowship accessible for all, with no tuition fees, and encourage applications by March for the program running from May to October.
