Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Owasso, OK US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Owasso, OK, empowers aspiring leaders to champion a food system that is just, sustainable, and equitable. Through hands-on training and community engagement, we nurture a new generation of educators and advocates committed to transforming food systems. Our Fellowship offers organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all participants. Fellows engage in a six-month immersive experience at our campus, where they learn to cultivate and distribute diverse crops, implement health education initiatives, maintain community gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. Additionally, participants play vital roles in supporting local farmer markets and creating distribution channels that increase access to healthy foods. By partnering with regional non-profit organizations during their Community Action Year, our Fellows apply their knowledge to foster positive change in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
