Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Mounds, OK, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system by equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for change. Our program invites passionate individuals to participate in a transformative six-month residential experience at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, where they will engage in organic food system education and hands-on training. Following this, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to promote food justice and access to nutritious food. Through initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and conducting educational health workshops, our Fellows become vital advocates for food and ecological literacy. By offering this fellowship without tuition, we strive to enhance accessibility and empower the next generation of community leaders. Applications for this impactful program are due each March, with the fellowship typically running from May to October.
