The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in McLoud, OK, is dedicated to cultivating leaders in sustainable and equitable food systems. We empower Fellows through hands-on training and education in organic farming, food distribution, and community wellness, ensuring that each participant can advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our comprehensive program offers unique opportunities for engaged learning, from growing diversified crops and managing community gardens to implementing health-focused educational sessions. Over the course of six months living at our farm, Fellows gain practical experience and then transition to a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to enhance local food access and support community initiatives. To promote inclusivity, we do not charge tuition for this transformative experience. Applications must be submitted by March for the fellowship that runs from May to October, allowing passionate individuals to effect real change in their communities.
