Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Lexington, OK US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lexington, OK is dedicated to fostering a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system through hands-on training and education. Our program empowers selected Fellows to become effective advocates and educators, promoting organic food practices and sustainable agriculture. Participants engage in a comprehensive six-month program at our Farm Campus, where they gain practical experience in growing diversified crops, managing community gardens, and enhancing food literacy. Fellows also play an integral role in supporting local farmers markets and direct-to-consumer food initiatives, ultimately working to increase access to healthy foods across the region. The fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, allowing participants to apply their skills in collaboration with local non-profit organizations. We encourage those interested to apply by March for an enriching experience that runs from May to October, as we strive to create a healthier and more equitable food system for all.
