Liz Hemme is a compassionate and dedicated Drug & Alcohol Counselor, holding credentials such as MCP, LADC-MH, and CCTP. With a strong familial connection to service, being the daughter of First Responders and granddaughter of Veterans, Liz possesses a special passion for aiding our Nation's heroes in healing the wounds incurred while protecting others. Over the past 13 years, she has successfully assisted individuals facing a diverse array of challenges, including addiction—both substance and behavioral—trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and family and relationship difficulties. Liz is EMDR trained and is currently working towards her certification. She believes that psychology is ever-evolving, yet the cornerstone of effective therapy lies in the therapeutic relationship. It is this nurturing and compassionate connection that empowers clients to dismantle their barriers and begin their healing journeys. Therapy is often perceived as daunting; however, Liz aims to be the safe space where individuals can openly express themselves and process their life stories.
