Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Jenks, OK, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates and educators for a just and sustainable food system. Our fellowship offers a unique opportunity for selected participants to immerse themselves in six months of hands-on learning at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they can apply their skills with local non-profits. We focus on organic food system education and collaborate with community partners to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. By supporting farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives, we strive to increase access to healthy food. Our program is designed to be accessible; therefore, we do not charge tuition. Applications are accepted until March each year, and the fellowship typically runs from May to October.
