Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Hugo, OK US
At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hugo, OK, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Our program equips selected Fellows with practical training through a unique blend of hands-on experience and community engagement, ensuring that education around organic food systems is accessible and impactful. Our Fellows will spend six months immersed in experiential learning at our farm campus, focusing on diverse agricultural practices, while also participating in a Community Action Year to implement their knowledge with local non-profits. Through initiatives like growing and distributing healthy crops, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy in schools, our Fellows empower communities to embrace innovative food solutions. We believe in fostering connections that enhance local access to nutritious food and support the wider community food movement, all while prioritizing social, environmental, and economic justice. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
